By continuing, you agree that your recordings may be used to improve IgboLearn’s AI and learning systems.

1. Who Can Use IgboLearn

To use IgboLearn, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old, or have parental consent if under 13
• Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
• Use the Platform only for lawful, educational, and respectful purposes

2. Your Account

When you create an account:

• You are responsible for keeping your login information secure
• You must not share your account or impersonate others
• You are responsible for all activity on your account

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

3. Use of the Platform

You may:

• Access quizzes, flashcards, AI-powered chats, speaking tools, dictionary, and other learning features
• Use IgboLearn for personal learning or teaching
• Share feedback to help us improve

You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, or exploit our content or code without permission
• Use bots or automated systems to abuse the Platform
• Post harmful, offensive, abusive, or culturally disrespectful content
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or disrupt AI features or systems

4. Voice Recordings and AI Use

IgboLearn includes features that allow you to record and submit voice input for pronunciation practice, speaking exercises, and interactive learning.

By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your voice recordings will be collected and processed to provide feedback, improve pronunciation accuracy, and enhance your learning experience
• Your voice recordings and related user-generated content may be used to develop, train, and improve IgboLearn’s AI systems and language tools
• This processing may include analysis of speech patterns, accents, and usage to improve accuracy, personalization, and cultural relevance

This use is part of how IgboLearn continuously improves its technology and contributes to the growth and preservation of the Igbo language.

If you do not agree to this use, you should not use voice-enabled features on the Platform.

Why This Matters

IgboLearn is part of a broader mission to preserve, grow, and modernize the Igbo language. By contributing recordings, you help us build systems that understand real Igbo speech, accents, and expressions — making learning more accurate, inclusive, and accessible for people everywhere.

Your contribution does not just improve your experience. It helps keep the language alive for future generations.

Legal Basis for Processing (Where Applicable)

Where required by applicable laws (such as the GDPR), your acceptance of these Terms and your use of voice-enabled features serve as your consent to the collection and use of your voice recordings as described above.

5. Content Ownership and Use

All IgboLearn content, including lessons, AI systems, designs, and features, is owned by IgboLearn or licensed to us.

You retain ownership of any content you provide, including voice recordings, responses, or contributions.

By using IgboLearn, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use your content for:

• Operating and improving the Platform
• Enhancing learning features
• Training and improving AI systems as described in these Terms

We do not sell your personal content to third parties.

6. Payments (If Applicable)

Some features of IgboLearn may require payment, including subscriptions and paid lessons.

• Paid features will be clearly indicated
• Pricing may vary by region (for example, ₦4,900/month or $4.99/month)
• Payments are processed through your selected payment provider or app store
• All purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• Prices and features may change, with notice where required

7. AI Tools Disclaimer

IgboLearn uses AI-powered tools to support learning, feedback, and interaction. While these systems are designed to be helpful and continuously improve:

• AI-generated responses may sometimes be incorrect, incomplete, or evolving
• Outputs may not fully capture all dialects, contexts, or cultural nuances at all times

We encourage you to use your judgment and continue learning actively as you engage with the Platform.

8. Learning Experience Disclaimer

IgboLearn is designed to help users improve their Igbo language skills through structured lessons, practice, and interactive tools.

Your progress will depend on your level of engagement, consistency, and how you use the Platform. We are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences, but we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or levels of proficiency.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the Platform
• This is required by law or operational reasons

You may delete your account at any time.

10. Liability and Disclaimers

IgboLearn is provided “as is” while we continue to improve and expand the Platform.

We do our best to provide accurate, useful, and culturally relevant content, but are not liable for:

• Errors in lessons, AI outputs, or content
• Loss of data or account access
• Interruptions or temporary unavailability of the Platform
• Third-party links, tools, or services

Your use of IgboLearn is at your own discretion and risk.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

Your continued use of IgboLearn means you accept the updated Terms.
